Kenya top Africa as Paris Olympic Games concludes

Kenya topped Africa at the concluded Paris Olympic Games in Paris, France.

The country collected 11 medals, four gold medals, two silver and five bronze medals.

Gold

1. Beatrice Chebet won two gold medals in the 5,000m and 10,000m
2. Faith Kipyegon won a gold in 1,500m
3. Emmanuel wanyonyi won gold in 800m to maintain the legacy

Silver

1. Faith Kipyegon won silver in the 5,000m behind Beatrice Chebet
2. Ronald Kwemoi managed silver in the 10,000m

Bronze

1. Hellen Obiri won bronze in the marathon
2. Benson Kipruto won bronze in the marathon
3. Abraham Kibiwot managed bronze in 3,000m steeplechase
4. The youthful Faith Cherotich won bronze in the 3,000m steeplechase
5. Mary Moraa with bronze in the 800m
