Kenya will be hosting the Africa Sitting Volleyball championships next month at the Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani.
The Kenya para-Volley Federation president Doris Atieno is optimistic that Kenyan team will take home advantage to shine at the continental championships set between July 4th and 9th.
Atieno said that six countries have already confirmed their participation in the continental showpiece for the ParaVolley Africa Zonal Championship (PVA).
In women, she said that hosts Kenya, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and Congo, Uganda, South Africa, and Burundi will have Kenya, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Egypt, Algeria, Libya.
Kenya has selected 30 players now in training and will be trimmed to 14 for both men and women that was named in April at the Nyayo Indoor Gymnasium.
All the finalists will earn a ticket for the Sitting Volleyball World Cup in Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA, on 12-18 October.
