Eldoret Falcons and Trans Nzoia Falcons playedout to a one all draw in the KenyaWomen Premier League (KWPL) match played today at University of Eldoret (UOE) ground.

Ruth Ingosi scored the first goal for the hosts on the 32nd minute to give hosts the lead with minimal scoring chances available for the both teams.
Newly signed Ingosi scored from a free kick outside the box, with her long shot beating keeper Callen Bosibori.
The scorer had been tackled by defender Mary Lumwachi and due to her long and powerful shots, made no mistake but to shoot on target to break the deadlock.
The draw did not down well with host’s interim coach Andrew Makhanu since he expected a win especially at home to a newly promoted team to the KWPL yet Eldoret side has been on the top tier for a better time.
“We had a problem with striking force. It was too weak and we need to have that finishing power in future for us to win several matches,” said Makhanu.
