Kenyan roll ball teams roll into Roll Ball World Cup finals in Dubai

Defending champions Kenya Roll Ball dominated the in emphatic fashion as both the men’s and women’s national teams booked their places in the finals of the 7th Roll Ball World Cup following thrilling semi-final victories in Dubai.

The men’s semi-final against Iran delivered one of the most dramatic encounters of the tournament, with Kenya emerging 6–5 winners after extra time in a pulsating contest that showcased grit, experience, and championship mentality.

Kenya struck first and went into halftime with a narrow 2–1 lead, but Iran — widely regarded as title challengers after winning the Oman Championship in July 2025 and finishing runners-up at the 2024 Asian Cup — mounted a fierce comeback in the second half. The match ended 4–4 at full time, forcing extra time in a tense, high-stakes battle.

Iran took the lead early in extra time, but Kenya responded with two quick goals to swing momentum back in their favor.
