Kenyan runners did not march the speed of Ethiopians at the ongoing World Under 20 athletics championships at the Kasarani stadium.
In the last event of day one, Kenya’s Daniel Kinyanjui and Bernard Kibet Yegon managed to finish in 7th and 9th positins by clocking 8:09.40 and 8:12.96 respectively in 3,000m race.
Ethiopians Tadese Worku (7:42.09) and Ali Abdilimana (7:44.55) were first and second positions respectively as Eritrea’s Merhawi Mebrahitu came third timing 7:55.50.
