Kenya’s 3×3 team will earn cash prizes from the ministry of Sports following the victory at the concluded FIBA 3×3 Africa Cup in Cairo, Egypt on Sunday ahead of Olympic Games in Paris, France next year.
Today, the Sports cabinet secretary Ababu Namwamba said that each player will earn kshs 200,000 while officials will earn kshs 100,000 from the victory.
Kenya defeated Egypt at the final in 21-20 where the likes of Mercy Wanyama, Madina Okot, Natalie Mwangale fought to bring the title home.

Kenya will turn their focus to the FIBA 3×3 Universality Olympic Qualifying Tournament in May 2024 where a place at the Paris Games will be contested.
