Kenya’s Rising Stars shine against Zimbabwe in Four nations opening match

Kenya’s Under-20 national team defeated Zimbabwe in the opening match of the Four Nations tournament in Malawi today.

The Anthony ‘Viera’ Akhulia recorded 3-1 win in a masterclass match today at Bundi Stadium in Lilongwe.

Elly Owande bagged a brace in the 9^th and 30^th minute with Hassan Kitsao adding a third goal as Denzel Mapua scored a consolation.

Akhulia, who was named head coach after Salim Babu failed to make the trip, said the tournament is instrumental in honing the skills of the budding stars — who will ply their trade for the senior team shortly.
