KGU name seven junior golfers for All Africa Junior Team championships

Kenya Golf Union has named eight players ahead of All Africa Junior Team Championships that will be held next week in Tunisia.

The tournament that will be played between April 22nd and 27th will see top juniors battle for the continental championships that will be played at the Residence Golf Course.

Today, the Principal Secretary for the State Department for Sports Elijah Mwangi flagged off the team that comprises of 4 boys and a team of 3 girls.  

The Boys’ Team has; 

1.     Junaid Manji – 17 Years – Sigona Golf Club 

2.     Nathan Mwangi – 16 Years – Karen Country Club 

3.     Tsevi Soni – 15 Years – Sigona Golf Club 

4.     Justin Ngeera – 14 Years – Vet Lab Sports Club 

The Girls’ Team has; 

1.     Belinda Wanjiru – 15 Years – Vet Lab Sports Club 

2.     Hazel Kuria – 17 Years – Muthaiga Golf Club 

3.     Audrey Gachora – 15 Years – Muthaiga Golf Club

Coaches: John Van Liefland and C.J Wangai  

The team will be accompanied by; 

1.     Head of Delegation: Vincent Mukiri – JGF President  

2.     Team Manager: Millicent Mello – JGF Trustee
