Serah Khanyereri beat Naomi Wafula to win the Kenya Ladies Open Amateur Strokeplay played on par 72 Royal Nairobi Golf Club.
Khanyereri led Wafula by four shots in the 54-hole tournament with 13 over 229 gross to claim the overall title.
In her last round on Sunday, she fired +2 74 ahead of Nafula’s four over par 76 in the final round for a total of 17 over 233 gross as Kiambu’s Joyce Wanjiru by four shots, while Vet Lab Sports Club’s Mercy Nyanchama finished third on 239.
Agnes Nyakio was round one winner on 82 and Faith Ontune on 80 was the second round winner with Ashley Awuor taking the final round gross title on 79 gross.
Vet Lab’s Rachel Ndei was the nett winner on 218 nett, while Sarah Nyareru on 220 was second and Mary Muthoni posted 223 nett to finish third.
