Grace Kidake and Silvia Chesebe won silver and bronze medals for kenya at the ongoing World Masters Athletics Championships in Guthenburg, Greece.
Kenyans have continued with their great show of athletics brilliancy former national women’s 400m champion Kidake claiming silver medal in 800m at the Bjorlanda Stadium while Chesebe settling for bronze in the same event.
Their stellar show saw Kenya conclude week one with eight medals which includes two golds, four silvers and two bronze medals.
The competition, which took a break yesterday, resumes today and Kenya will be seeking to harvest more medals.
Simon Losiaboi and Robert Langat will be in action in men’s 800m final at the Ullevi Stadium.
