Anthony Kimani has resigned as the AFC Leopards coach in less than 24 hours after playing to a barren draw against Gor Mahia in the Mahsmeji derby.
Kimani who was the club captain in his days as a footballer held the team together since last year even as foreign coaches quit in droves, also threw in the towel.
In Kimani’s absence, the club has hired Belgium international Patrick Aussems.
Kimani has in the meantime maintained a studious silence over the matter
