Kipchumba leads podium sweep for Kenyans at Valencia road race

Abel Kipchumba led an all podium finish for Kenyan athletes at yesterday Valencia 15km road race in Spain.

As Dorcas Jepchumba Kimeli finished second behind Ethiopia’s Zeineba Yimer in women’s category.

Kipchumba won the race timing 41:44 leading Alfred Barkach and Henry Rono who timed 42:27 and 42:59 in an all Kenyan podium sweep.

Jemeli finished second in 47:33 behind Yimer as another Ethiopian Jebesa Zenebu Fikadu completed the podium in 49.15.
