Kipkoech and Ruguru top Kenyans as Ethiopians dominate Copenhagen Half marathon

Felix Kipkoech was the top Kenyan at the Copenhagen Half Marathon where Ethiopians dominated the race by sweeping the podium in both men and women.

In men, Kipkoech was third behind Ethiopian pair of Milkesa Mengesha and Amedework Walelegn.

Kipkoech crossed the finish line in 59:07 with compatriot Vincent Kipkemoi (59:09) and Edmund Kipngetich (59:25), Matthew Kimeli (59:39), Titus Kimutai (59:44) and Ronald Kirui (59:51) closed the top ten places.

In women, top Kenyan was Janet Ruguru who finished 7^th in 67:51 as Vicoty Chepngeno and Agnes Keino were in 9^th and 11^th 68:22 and 68:47 respectively.
