Former Abu Dhabi marathon champion Vivian Jerono Kiplagat and newcomer Titus Kipruto were the winners of the 2022 Milano marathon held today in Italy.
Kiplagat won the title in 2:20.18 ahead Ethiopian duo of Sintayehu Tilahun (2:22.19) and Atalel Anmut Dargie 2:22.21) in second and third positions respectively.
Kiplagat reclaimed her title she last won in 2018 when she timed 2:27:08
Making his marathon debut, the steeplechase king Kipruto won the title in laid 2:05:05 1-2 Kenyan finish alongside Daniel Kibet, who clocked 2:05:20. Tanzanian Alphonce Felix was third in 2:06:20.
