World 10km record holder Rhonex Kipruto won the 10,000m title at the Fernanda Ribeiro Gold Gala in Portugal.
The reigning world 10,000m bronze medalist led a 1-2 podium finish for Kenyan athletes with Shardack Koech coming in second position.
Kipruto, the 10,000m under 20 champion clocked 27:11.01 ahead of training mate Koech who was second in timing 27:59.19 as part of their preparation for the start of the Diamond League and Olympic Games.
