Olympic Games marathon bronze medalist Benson Kipruto, London marathon champion Alexander Munyao Mutiso and Albert Korir swept the podium for Kenya at the New York City marathon held this evening in the USA.
Kirputo, who won the 2021 Boston marathon, 2022 Chicago marathon and 2025 Tokyo marathon titles held on Mutiso to claim the title after cutting the tape in 2:08:08 ahead of Mutiso, the 2024 London marathon winner to second at 2:08:09 before Korir, the 2021 winner coming third at 2:08:57 in an all Kenyan affair.
