Three time world record holder Faith Kipyegon Chepngetich and American Noah Lyles were named the World Athletes of the year during today’s World Athletes of the Year Awards in Monanco, France.
The kenyan Kipyegon broke the 1,500m, One Mile and 5000m world records in 2023 and winning gold at the world Athletics championships in Budapest, Hungary.
World 800m silver medalist Emmanuel Wanyonyi won the Men’s Rising Star award with world marathon record holder Kelvin Kiptum winning the World Athlete of the year Men’s out of stadium.
