Kitur, Wahome in search of 100th title at Coast Open’s Barry Cup

Eldoret golfer Aaron Kitur will be hoping to win the Coast Open Barry Cup title when he ascends set for this weekend on par 71 Mombasa Golf Club.

Long hitting Kitur will be chasing the title against home player Matthew Wahome as they seek the 100th title in the tournament that enters its 100th edition in the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) series ahead of 2020 Kenya Open Golf Championships.

Kitur has not won any title this season but hopes for the best while Wahome will be seeking his second title after winning Trans Nzoia Open two months ago in Kitale.

Wahome said he will be delivering at home though he is under pressure playing on home ground.

“It is like any other tournament but playing at home gives him pressure to deliver as one of the top and best amateur golfer on the course,” said Wahome.

The duo admitted that they are well prepared for the title chase in the coastal town encounter.
