Former Paris marathon champion Judith Korir will be facing off with the reigning Olympic Games marathon champion Peres Jepchirchir and Olympics marathon silver medallist Brigid Kosgei at Sunday’s London marathon that will be held in England.
The three top runners will be eyeing to break the course record set by Kenya’s Mary Keitany in 2017.
Korir returns to the course after finishing 4th in 2:18:43.
In men, double New York City Marathon winner Geoffrey Kamworor against defending champion Amos Kipruto and Kelvin Kiptum.
The Kenyans are up against home athlete Mo Farah and Ethiopian legendary distance runner Kenenisa Bekele among others
