Reigning World Athletics marathon silver medalist Judith Jeptum Korir, former Amsterdam marathon champion Angela Tanui and defending champion Moses Kibet will highlight this year’s Sydney Marathon set for September 17th in Australia.
In women, Korir and Tanui who trains in Kapsait and Iten respectively will lead the Kenyans contingent in the battle for the title where they will face Eritrea’s Nazret Weldu and Haven Hailu of Ethiopia.
In men, champion Kibet will be up against Ethiopia’s Tamirat Tola and Tanzania’s Gabriel Geay.
