Former world under 20 10,000m bronze medalist Nicholas Kosimbei has provisionally been suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) over doping.
The 26 year old was suspended today after testing positive for prohibited substance Trimetazidine.
The Kenyan marathoner, won the bronze medal in 2014 and has joined compatriot Purity Changwony who was provisionally suspended on July 26, 2022 after testing positive for 19-Norandrosterone, Triamcinolone acetonide.
This suspension adds to the list of 25 Kenyan athletes suspended by AIU and Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya since 2022.
