Debutants Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) was the top Kenyan club at the African men’s Volleyball Clubs championship in Tunis, Tunisa.
The Mombasa based club finished fifth while former champions General Service Unit (GSU) completed 7th overall.
In their last match at the championships, KPA defeated Cameroon side Port Douala in a four-setter thriller in 3-1(25-18,25-21,25-23,25-20) in the 5-6 play-offs while GSU beat Nemostars of Uganda in straight sets of 25-14,25-18,25-19 in the position 7-8 matches.
