Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) former Champions Kenya Prisons, champions Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) and KCB recorded victories in day two of the Kenya Volleyball Federations (KVF) play-offs at the Kasarani Indoor stadium.
In men, James Ontere’s KPA maintain their tempo just like in the league, beating champions General Service Unit (GSU) led by Gideon Tarus in straight sets of 25-23, 25-22 and 25-14 while former champions Kenya Prisons won by similar sets against Kenya Defence Forces in 21-25, 18-25 and 22-25.
In women, champions KPC led by John Gitau recorded their back to back victories against former champions’ Josph Barasa’s Kenya Prisons in 3-1 at 16-2, 23-25, 25-18 and 24-26 while former Africa champions KCB under Japheth Munala maintained their winning ways, beating Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) 3-0 in 28-26, 25-17and 25-15.
