Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) will face Urunani in the opening match of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) Elite 16 Division East Johannesburg, South Africa next week.
Lying in pool A, the Kenyan side KPA take on Burundi’s Urunani on November 22nd before taking on the hosts club Cape Town Tigers on 23rd and end pool matches against NBA Academy Africa on November 24.
Top two teams in the pool will proceed to the semifinals on November 26th then finals on 27th where the winners of the semi-finals and the third-place team will qualify to the third edition of the BAL 2023.
Pool B has Ferroviaro de Maputo from Mozambique, Zambia’s Matero Magic, Uganda’s City Oilers
Abidjan, Ivory Coast will host the West Division of the competition on November 14-19.
