KPA’s good start at FIBA Africa Women’s Club Championship

Champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) started well with victory at the start of FIBA Africa Women’s Club Championship at the in Burundi.

The Kenyan champions defeated hosts Young Sisters of Burundi 69-42 in their pool C match when they had a 19-1 lead in the first quarter, managed to draw at 19-19 into break.

But the Kenyan side returned with a 38-20 in the third then 14-12 in the final quarter as Anthony Ojukwu coached side maintained their ways for a win.

The two Kenyan teams in this competition, KPA and Equity Bank Hawks have a break tomorrow
