Former Kenya Premier League (KPL) most valuable player Jacob Keli has returned to his former Club Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) from Bandari fc.
After finishing 4th at the National Super League (NSL) and failed to return to KPL last year, the bankers have acquired the services of Keli, who was then the their top scorer together with Rodgers Omondi from Kariobangi Sharks.
Head coach John Kamau presented the 31 member squad with Keli and Omondi having experience in KPL.
The pair have been handed one year contracts and will be joined by other new players including Dennis Gicheru and Anthony Gathu, who joined in from Wazito FC and Augustine Ochieng who has been shipped in from Posta Rangers.
Former Sofapaka, Bandari, Gor Mahia and Nakumatt FC midfielder Eric Ochieng is also confirmed at the team on a one – year deal.
Former Kenya U20 defender Ezekiel Nyati is also among the confirmed new signings, handed a three – year deal along with midfielder Bernard Ouma and left back Kenneth Mukuria Karungari.
KCB, will be hoping for a better season in the second tier after a slump towards the final stages of the 2017 campaign which ended the Bankers’ promotion hopes.
