Kakamega Homeboyz have acquired the services of eight top players in the transfer window ahead of Kenya Premier League (KPL) that kicks off next month.
The western based team has raided their KPL sides and taken experienced players to steer the team to the top of the league.
Big losers was Tusker after they raided the services of Allan Wanga, James Situma and Noah Wafula all headed for Bukhungu stadium.
Club chairman Cleophas Shimanyula said he has also acquired former Muhoroni Youth duo of Hassan Kiyoyo and Kennedy Rono.
Others who signed for Bukhungu based club are Andrew Waiswa from Bandari FC, Smith Ouko from Chemelil Sugar FC and Evans Kiwanuka from Western Stima FC.
The biggest departure from the team in the current transfer window has been defender Charles Momanyi, who has already joined Gor Mahia. The team may also lose the top scorer in 2017, Jeremiah Wanjala, who is reported to be a Posta Rangers target.
