Kenya Rugby Union have fired the union’s Chief executive officer Aggrey Wabulwenyi
Today, the union in a statement state: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Wabulwenyi for his service to the Kenya Rugby Union and the game of rugby and wish him all the best in his future endeavors”.
Thomas Odundo takes charge in an interim capacity.
Odundo currently serves as the KRU Director of Rugby and boasts vast knowledge and experience as a former international player, coach and administrator.
The Kenya Rugby Union will initiate a competitive recruitment process for a new CEO and plans to fill the post in due course.
Wabulwenyi who was appointed in June last year, is currently with the Lionesses for the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup in Madagascar which concludes today.
