La Liga: Michael Olunga nets a brace in a new club, Girona

Fresh from joining La Liga side Girona, Kenyan International Michael Olunga netted a brace on his debut against Ripoll in a Charity match in honour of suspected terror Barcelona attack that happened on August 18th in Spain.

Loaned Olunga, who joined the Girona fc, the 6th placed on the La Liga table, from Chinese side Guizhou Zhicheng, scored twice in an 8-0 demolishing of Ripoll as the visitors stamped authority in the Municipal Field today.

The 10th minute goal by Carles Planas was the opener was good enough for the flooding scoring opportunities.

On loan Nigerian Olarenwaju Kayode from Manchester City added the second 17 minutes alter before Portu added the 3rd on the stroke of half time whistle.

Aday Benitez was on the score sheet on 61st minute for a 4-0 before Olunga, who came from the bench netted successfully on 71st and 72nd minute for 6-0 lead.

The 7th goal was scored by Colombian international Malos Moreno and Johan Mojica sealed the massive victory for Girona
