Former secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) champions Laiser Hill Academy and Wiyeta Girls have been crowned the champions of Rift Valley Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom in the tournament played today at Kericho Green stadium.
In boys’ Laiser Hill Academy came from a goal behind defeat former Chapa Dimba national champions Kapenguria Heroes 4-2 in post match penalties.
Samson Tanui was on target for West Pokot based Heroes in the 8th minute but Sharrif Machabe equalized in the 78th minute from the spot to force match into penalties that the Kajiado based school won.
In the girls, Wiyeta Girls from Trans Nzoia blew out Nandi’s Itigo Girls 3-0 in the finals.
Edina Wanda scored first with just 11 minutes into the kick-off whistle before Jacinta Karemana added the second in the 34th minute and Shalyne Opisa sealed the win.
