Leaders Thika Queens and Vihiga Queens will be hoping for better results as Football Kenya Federation Women’s Premier League kicks off this weekend.
Thika, leading in Zone A will be chasing to remain on top of the table when they travel to Nairobi to face bottom based Makoladers at Stima Members Club on Saturday.
A loss for Thika and a win for Ulinzi Starlets will take the latter to the summit of the zone A.
On 21 points, Starlets will be traveling to Camp Toyoyo to play their hosts Mathare United Women team.
In other Zone A matches, Zetech Sparks tackle Kayole Starlets at Ruiru grounds whuile Kibera Soccer Academy take on Gospo Women at Stima Members on Sunday.
In zone B, champions and leaders Vihiga will be taking on pointless Eldoret Falcons at the Eldoret ASK ground on Sunday while second placed Trans Nzoia Falcons host SEP Girls at the Kenyatta stadium in Kitale and Wadadia tackle Oserian Ladies at Mumias and Nakuru West Girls handle Kisumu Starlets
