Elvis Rupia bagged a brace as thirteen time Kenya Premier League champions AFC Leopards ended the KCB unbeaten run in the FKF Premier League match played today at Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani.
The winners came from a goal down to secure the maximum points in the 2-1 win to end the poor results for AFC Leopards who had lost two back to back matches.
Samuel Mwangi netted first for the banks in the 24th minute before Rupia equalized five minutes later before sealing the victory in the 57th minute.
Following the win, Leopards move into third position on 12 points from six matches while KCB, which has been leading the table on 18 points, remains in the same position after second placed Kariobangi Sharks lost yesterday to Tusker 4-2 yesterday.
In other matches, newbis Bidco United lost 2-1 at home to Wazito fc.
The winners came from a goal down to claim victory. Dennis Sikhayi scored first for Bidco befor Vincent Oburu leveled and Erick Gichimu scored the winning goal.
