Kenya Premier league side AFC Leopards edged out County league side Global Field Evangelism (GFE 105) in their preparations for the new season set to kick-off next month.
Leopards, which is training at the Lornah Kiplagat high altitude training camp in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet county stunned GFE 105 3-1 in a friendly match.
The Anthony Kimani coached side will be camping in the high altitude area before the league whistles off on 21st November 2020.
“Lornah Kiplagat camp has all the facilities including a gym and swimming pool which are essential for players. Indeed, the players have enjoyed this place and we will come back for a longer period,” said Kimani.
Ingwe went ahead through Austin Odhiambo after converting a penalty before newly signed Bienvenue Shaka added the second in the 26th minute as GFE 105 scored the consolation goal in 66th courtesy Emanuel Egbor before Leopards sealed victory in the 69th minute through Shaka.
