Leopards, Wazito in 2-0 victory

Former champions AFC Leopards and Wazito fc registered their victories in today’s Kenya Premier League matches.

After losing to Gor Mahia at the FKF Cup finals last Sunday, Leopards bounced back to defeat Bandari FC 2-0 in a match played at the Thika stadium.

Leopards Robert Mudenyu first before Peter Thiong’o to seal the victory.

The victory powered Leopards to remain in third position on 43 points behind leaders Tusker with 50 and KCB in second position with 46 points after playing 23, 22 and 23 matches respectively.

Losers Bandari remained in the 8th position with 33 points after playing 23 matches.

Wazito defeated returnees Vihiga United by the similar score to move to the 6th position on 34 points after playing 23 matches while the losers remained in the relegation zone on 16 points with 23 matches.
