Lionesses beat Cameroon to qualify for World Rugby WXV

Kenya Lionesses, the national rugby 15s women team defeated Cameroon to qualify for the World Rugby WXV during the Africa Women Rugby qualifiers in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

The Paul Odera coached side were 52-3 winners against Cameroon and finished second in the two week’s long tournament with South Africa winning the title for the second tier.

Kenya’s win against Cameroon set a spark in their hope to qualify as they awaited the loss of Madagascar to South Africa who are unbeaten in the tournament.

The Kenya women’s team are now sure of their qualifying after the Madagascar’s 79-3 loss to South Africa.

The Kenyan team only lost their game against South Africa.
