Kenya Lionesses, the national women rugby sevens team ended the Tokyo Olympic Games in position ten after losing to Canada in their last match at the Tokyo stadium.
The Felix Oloo led side lost 24-10 to Canada in the 9-10 place classification match.
Unconverted tries by Janet Okello and Diana Ochieng were never enough to secure the 9th place despite beating hosts Japan 21-17 on Friday.
Canada made the tries through Landry Ghislaine with a try and two conversions with other tries coming from Charity Williams with Ghislaine converting and Bianca Farrela for the second try.
In group stages, Kenya lost all their matches to New Zealand, Russia and Great Britain.
