Dennis Maara fired three under par 69 to guide team Kenya take the lead at the ongoing Africa Region Four golf Championship at Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort today.
The captain led compatriots John Lejirmah on two over 74, Michael Karanga on three over par 75 and Adel Balala managing three over par 75 for an aggregate of 880 gross to go top of the long.
After joint lead with champions Uganda yesterday, Kenya took charge of the table in the 72-hole stroke play event ahead of tomorrow’s matchplay.
Kenya will be chasing to reclaim the title they won last in 2018.
