Kenyan captain Dennis Maara has taken a one shot lead at the ongoing Karen Challenge Trophy, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) at the par 72 karen Golf club.
After enjoying a joint lead with Tuimur Malik and Njoroge Kibugu on level par yesterday, Maara managed to secure one under par 71 to take a one shot lead in round two with 143 ahead of tomorrow’s finals.
In the 54-hole tournament that teed off yesterday, will come to an end tomorrow that counts to the World Amateur Ranking.
He leads junior player Kibugu to second with level par 144 following his level par in both rounds as Adel Balala coming third with two over par 146.
