Bunyore Starlets defeated Kenya Women Premier League debutants Madira Soccer Assassins in a match played today at the Ebusakani stadium in Vihiga County.
In an all Vihiga derby, Airin Madalin scored a solitary goal to earn all three points for the Timothy Ondeko coached side while Assassins coach Francis Muhambe said his team lost for lack of a strong mid-field.
