Malkia Strikers redeemed their image to win the second match in the ongoing Women African Nations Championships in Kigali, Rwanda.
After losing in straight sets against Cameroon 3-0 (25-20,25-21,25-19) in pool B match on Sunday, the Paul Bitok coached team defeated Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) 3-0 (25-11,25-12,25-19) today.
Kenya will now play Tunisia on Wednesday and end pool matches against Burundi on Thursday.
In other women’s results, Cameroon won against Tunisia 3-0(25-15,25-18,25-17).
