Malkia Strikers, the national women’s volleyball team started well after winning the opening match of the Africa Volleyball Championships (CAVB) Africa Cup of Nations at the October 6th Hall in Giza, Egypt.
Kenya hit Algeria in straight sets of 25-19, 25-21 and 25-21 in pool B encounter.
Playing in the same pool C with defending champions Cameroon hit their opponents Botswana 3-0 (25-12, 25-17 and 25-10).
Next Kenya plays Botswana and Cameroon play Algeria.
