Mambuyu fc held by Kisii Wazee in Eldoret

Moses Selebwa a controversial equalizer for Mambuyu fc in the Wazee Premier League match played at Kipchoge Keino stadium in Eldoret.

The 80th minute goal was protested by Kisii Wazee players against their hosts Mambuyu FC in a four goal match galore with a 2-2.

The match which Kisii was almost taking away the maximum points from their hosts, was protested by the players who claimed Selebwa was in an offside position when he scored the equaliser.

Kisii Wazee opened the score with 20 minutes into the match through Areri Kenyatta with his left footed shot to give the visitors a lead but  the celebrations did not last for more than 20 minutesas John Maina equalized through the header on 37th minute for both teams to go into break with a one all draw.

On the second restart, Steve Biko gave the visitors a lead on 55th minute to give Kisii total control and dominance of the match.

Despite the struggle and the fight for an equalize failed George Okumu, the Uasin Gishu Football Secretary shots went wide.

on the 80th minute Selebwa shot on the edge of the box was good enough for the hosts to share the points with traveling Kisii team for a 2-2 all draw.

The goal atracted much criticism from both Kisii players and officials who claimed Selebwa was offside but centre referee had already counted the goal.

That scenario forced the match to end prematurely as Kisii players refused to start the match.
