Martial’s withdrawal from the KRU Championships has handed Northern Suburbs an advantage.
This means that Northern Suburbs are one step away from qualifying for the Kenya Cup, the top tier rugby league in the country.
USIU were to play Suburbs on Saturday at USIU but withdrew from the competition paving way for Suburbs to book an away semifinal against Strathmore Leos.
The second quarterfinal between Mean Machine and Egerton Wasps at UoN at 3pm will proceed as planned. Winner will face MMUST in the semis. Semifinals winners will be promoted to the Kenya Cup.
