Fresh from winning an Olympic 800m bronze, Mary Moraa has set a new world record in the 600m at the ISTAF Berlin championships.
The world 800m champion broke the Caster Semenya record to 1:21.63 that was held at 1:21.77 in 2017 at the same venue.
The African Games 800m champion also won the women’s 800m at the Diamond League Meeting in Doha.
The Commonwealth Games champion was beaten to second in the women’s 800m by Briton Keely Hodgkinson at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene.
