Former champions Mathare United registered a shocking victory against multiple champions Gor Mahia in today’s Kenya {Premier league match played at the Kasarani stadium.
The slum boys won 2-1 with goals coming from David Kibet who scored first for the winners in the 8th minute before Gor’s Benson Omalla struck back to level in the 64th minute before Daniel Okoth sealed Mathare’s victory in the 82nd minute.
Despite winning, Mathare still lie in position 15th on the table
At Muhoroni stadium, in Kisumu, Kariobangi Sharks beat their hosts Wazito 3-1 while Talanta beat Vihiga Bullets 2-1.
