Former champions Mathare United, Ulinzi Stars and Nairobi City Stars collected maximum points in today’s Kenya Premier league matches.
At Ruaraka grounds, 2008 champions mathare overcame newbies FC Talanta 2-0 with danson Kago and Daniel Otieno hitting the target in the 2nd minute before Otieno doubled the score and the winning goal in the last minutes.
Even after losing Talanta remain eighth on the log with 24 points from 17 matches while Mathare are still in the relegation zone.
In Nakuru, Daniel waweru scored the solely goal as former champions Ulinzi Stars defeated Wazito FC by a solitary goal.
At Kasarani, Nairobi City Stars won 1-0 against Kariobangi Sharks with the only goal scored by Ezekiel Odera in the 62ns minute.
