Champions Gor Mahia lost their first Kenya Premier (KPL) match against Mathare United in a match played today at Machakos stadium.
Gor, who lost to Motema Pembe in the CAF Confederation Cup over the weekend, lost by a solitary goal courtesy Daniel Otieno.
The Steven Polack side will be facing their perennial rivals AFC Leopards on Sunday had not training since their return from DR Congo on Monday.
Mathare and champions played to a barren draw at half time but substitute Otieno earned slum boys the win in the 89th minute to seal the victory.
