Michael Githae, the best Kenyan at Fukuoka marathon

Commonwealth Games marathon bronze medalist Michael Githae was the top Kenyan runner at the Fukuoka marathon held yesterday in Fukuoka, Japan.

Githae managed to finish in the 4th position after clocking 2:08.17 with home runner Yuya Yoshida winning the title at 2:07:05, which was his personal best followed by Shohei Otsuka (2:07:38) and Natsuki Terada (2:08:03).
