Migne names Stars Starting line-up against Ghana

Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne has named his starting line against Black Stars of Ghana in their last match of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier tonight in Accra, Ghana.

Totenham Hotspurs midfielder Victor Wanyama will captain the side alongside Gor Mahia’s Francis Kahata as well as Cercle Brugge midfielder Johanna Omollo and Dennis Odhiambo in the 4-2-3-1 formation.

Patrick Matasi will start between the posts as Sweden-based Erico Johanna leads the striking with Masoud Juma as Kenya seeks to cement top of pool F with a win or draw against their hosts.

Kenya tops the pool with 7 points followed by Ghana with a point less while Ethiopia in third with one point after drawing against Kenya as Sierra Leone were expunged late last year when the country’s football association was suspended by world governing body Fifa for government interference.

Ghana and Kenya have met 11 times in the past, with Ghana winning seven and two of the encounters ending in draws.
