Demoted Mount Kenya United (MKU) won their first match in the National Super league match against Northern Wanderers.
MKU, which was demoted from Kenya Premier League (KPL) last season, handed Wanderers their third consecutive loss.
In other matches, Coast Stima lost 1-2 at home to Migori Youth, with Modern Coast rangers losing 2-3 to Shabana with Bidco winning at home by a solitary goal against FC Talanta.
Newcomers derby ended in a barren draw with Murang’a Seal and Vihiga Bullets. It was another barren draw with another demote Vihiga United against Nairobi City Stars.
